Fat Happy Person, Candy Keyboard

I started today off with a certain hopefulness I usually don't have on a Wednesday. Half-way through the week, usually dragging along... But today was different for some reason - maybe the ol' prayers are being answered!

I woke up, got in my bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats (we're out now... MAN!), and was out the door in time to get to class.

Web Design went well today. I was on the ball, proud of my work at the end of class, and I even came out of it with a better understanding of the subject matter (Adobe Dreamweaver).

I then came home, filled out a survey for e-rewards... Speaking of e-rewards... It's so lame that we have a cap of things we can order with our credit. We can only order one reward per calendar quarter. So I'm stuck waiting till the first of April for my $25 gift card to Gamestop... Speaking of Gamestop... I'm actually doing this whole "stop spending money" thing. I'm impressed with myself. I set a limit, and can recognize a goal - I think I'm actually going to be able to do it this time.

I laid down for a few minutes after the survey, and man did I not want to get up. But I did, because my goal for this week was to kick my butt forcefully into gear by attending all classes, and doing everything better than the best of my ability. So, I went to class instead of taking a nap - excellent choice!

Clearly, this man is making good choices as well.
Finding that picture of a "Happy Fat Person" on Google really distracted me...

Oh! In class, we talked about important stuff regarding the critical essay we're writing on "The Great Gatsby", it's a good book - one of the few books I enjoyed reading ever.

Lunch came next with my fiance and her friend (who isn't my biggest fan). It was good, I ate food, and I'll probably be getting rid of it in a day or so. Conversation was fun, but it was time to get going!

I shaved, got myself ready, then headed to the Broadcasting area to work on the news. It was a good show today... MUCH better than last week's, by far. No East of Chicago today unfortunately, but there's a silver lining (saving me some money!!!).

I'm here now, blogging after a longish day of doing many things. I'm half tempted to go ahead and write a review for The Level Lounge about "Saints Row 3" DLC... I think I shall!

Mmm...
Until next time, friends!

No Title, Plenty of Content

I managed to get out of bed this morning at 9:00! So... The day started with accomplishments, that's always good.

I had a nice big bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats again this morning (no, I didn't learn my lesson), stay tuned for a while to hear the consequences of two days of fiber in a row 0_0 I think I watched something on TV, but I can't remember that little detail - today was more of a "big picture" day rather than a "small detail" day.

I got to the broadcasting area early, sat around, talked to people - shot the breeze, you know. I get the impression that one of the guys there doesn't enjoy my company very much, but I get the feeling that people don't like me a lot - and I haven't been proved wrong yet XD Oh what a horrible thing... ANYWAY!

Before the show got started, this one guy we work with (real into video games) starts talking our ear off about a game he wants to make. I like the guy, he's cool enough - but as he was telling us his plans we compared it to "Star Wars", "Infamous", "Prototype", and "Bioshock" - nothing really was original, and I think he was fine with that? Anyway, he might write for The Level Lounge, because he's at least got chops at this "writing" thing.

The show wasn't a disaster... It actually went very well! Good job, team.

After the show came my office hour (it's convenient, I'm already there, you know?), we pulled stories, talked, laughed, etc.

Then I trained the new Northern Notebook guy for an hour. I'm actually kind of glad to be done with it. It only takes an hour or two out of my week to do it - but it's now and hour or two I'll have to do something else ^_^ Like focus more on my Sunday show, which I need to do mixes for! ... Which I need more CD's for >_< Totally forgot! I'll have to stop by Rite Aid at some point this week.

I got my writing hour done during my 2:00 hour, and had to help somebody who's new to the news complete the whole package process. He was so stressed, but I was like "Dude... This is the easy part." Ha ha, oh well! It's amazing how much pressure we apply to ourselves when we assign the same amount of importance to everything we do.

Luckily... I don't have that problem, I kinda put everything I have to do in a pool of things and pick out something every hour to attack my way through it.

Screen Writing was next, and I had the farts the whole time! Ha ha, if anyone reading this is in that class, just know I tried to be a hero and keep em' in there, but I was not strong enough XD I wasn't to into the class today because of my outrageous gas attack. But I liked what we were doing near the end, it was a cool idea! We wrote a small scene, then passed it to the right to see what other people would write in the situation we laid out for them.

I then came home, hungry as a Hungarian man named Harry. I made a whopping four boxes of Velveeta macaroni and cheese, and managed to eat about 2 boxes worth, while sharing maybe a box worth with my fiance and mom ^_^ YAY SHARING! Now I have a whole bunch to eat when I get hungies again.

Hm... Watched Spongebob... Played Saints Row 3... Showered..? Checked my midterms! I have a C in practicum, and a D in the class I dropped last week. I guess they don't often update the midterm site..? Now I'm blogging to you good people!

I really don't have much to say, and my computer is in the same room my fiance studies in, so my keyboard typings are driving her bonkers. I'm going to go ahead and wrap up tonight's post with a picture I may or may not have shared with you before!

Ha ha... Memes are funny XD
Until next time, friends!

What a Day!

Let me start tonight's post with a thought that has crossed my mind more than you'd imagine...

Man, eating that fiber-filled breakfast was a BAD idea.

Now that we all know I have "the toots", I'm sure reading this post will be just that much more enjoyable for you!

Today started like any Monday... Late. I have a habit of punching the ol' "snooze" button more than my fair share of times during Monday mornings, usually leaving myself about 30 minutes to go through my morning routine... Which takes about 1.5 hours XD

But alas! I make it somehow and managed to kick my rear into gear.

Web Design today was okay... I don't feel like the work I put into it was quite up to my standards of doing things, but when you're on a one-class time limit, you have to make sacrifices to your assignment. I did the most important, big money makers, and left some of the smaller fries uneaten. I look forward to honing my skills a bit more in the future so that I can deliver my 100%.

After Web Design, I headed on over to my house. On days like this, when I get out of bed late, I don't manage breakfast. So, I come back after my 9:00 and eat a hardy bowl of cereal (in this case, fiber-rich "Frosted Mini Wheats") to keep me going till lunch. Anyway, I watched an episode of "Fairy Tale" as I ate, then went to my second class of the day, Great Works.

It went well, I had my lead-off questions all ready to go, and it turns out we didn't use them. So I got credit for something I didn't need to perform on ^_^ That's a bonus in my book. I need to refresh my memory of the teachers grading scale though... So far on the two larger assignments, I've received a "250" - so I'm either doing extraordinarily well, or abysmally poor. Or somewhere in between..?

Manager meeting was up next, and I think I need to speak up more in the beginning, because we all had the same ideas pretty much - so I was stuck reiterating them like a butt-cake when I was asked for my ideas. But that was over as soon as it began (it feels like, the clock would tell you differently).

I've been working on contacting the people at the Inn at ONU, and after a billion referrals (and half-a-billion rejections), somebody finally told me it simply wasn't going to happen. This means that I have to pretty much move on and find something else to cover, package wise!

How have I not talked about the missing iPod yet!? So, I had it, then didn't have it! I retraced my steps (thanks to my fiance for the help), and found nothing. Finally, after filing reports with at least three different secretaries of various departments I had been at - it shows up almost crushed under the passenger car seat! What the heck!? You know what the worst part is? I KNEW it was somewhere simple like that XD

Also, my fiance's friend brought over a bunch of food, so I finally polished off a large box filled with cheesy goodness (hopefully that will counter-act the fiber!), and we watched a movie called "Horrible Bosses", it was horrible!

Now we find ourselves here, doing nothing of importance, me writing, you reading... I'll end tonight's post with another funny picture I hopefully haven't used before...

HA!
Until next time, friends!
